89 4.3 oneinjector wire no good

Well, you need to replace or reconnect this wire. It's got to be either a power wire or a ground wire. The power wire is a splice from the other injector power wires.
The power wire originates from a fuse in the fuse/relay block. It is hot with key in run or on or start.
The ground wire goes from the injector connector and into the pcm or engine computer. To check this wire: disconnect battery from car, pull the connectors from the pcm, then use an ohmmeter to check continuity of the ground wire from the injector connector to the electrical plug on the pcm. You might be able to find this ground wire terminal by following wire colors, but a wiring diagram showing the layout (pin identification) of the pcm connector will surely be helpful.

Need diagram.

Haynes manuals have all kinds of diagrams, but wire colors stated can NOT be trusted. they get close, but a voltage tester becomes your best friend. Do the dummy check and if you are removing a radio or something like that, check the top of the stock radio for pin identification, then just match up the wiring harness.
