Chugging niose from rear of 2000 forester


Any warranty? Take it back to the seller. "undisclosed" problems. My guess is you have some bearing or drive line system problems.

My 2006 subaru forester struggles to accelerate. it chugs along and eventually kicks off.. almost like it needs a good backfire? could be wrong but thats how it feels. i have had it an an auto electrician...


Does it have a turbo? It sounds like it might have a leak in one of the pressurized hoses after the turbo.

Alternatively, an intake leak. Maybe you can use a spray bottle and mist water (or WD40) around the intake gasket and hose connections and see if the idle tone changes.

alignment? tires? check over all work that was done. can you command it to 4wd or 2wd? I don't know Subaru very well, there's not many in FL.

Binding of rear end when turning and abs light on. subaru 97 outback.Clutch pack or sensors or what?Grabbing in forward and reverse when turning sharp.


just a suggestion mate, it might be your universel joint, a mate of mine has experienced a very similar issue as you are experincing now and the knucle had some how renervated its location and his rear-end was also binding up forward, reverse turning only, i could be wrong, but that was what happened in his case thats all, he had subaru GT250,
