I have a 1999 honda civic that has an intermittent problem with the lights pulsating . I have checked the ground connections and have had the starter and alternator tested. Could it be the distributor?

That happened to my 1987 Tercel, it was the battery simply not having enough power to keep everything going so when ever I would turn on the radio/ turning signals or even the electric engine fan came on, the head lights pulsated however the battery still had the power to start the car, switch the battery from your car with a friends (if you no how its quite simple) and go for a drive, see if the problem is fixed

2001 volvo s80 rough ideal below 40 mph especially when the ac is on. Also if i press the throttle while in park or in drive at low speed the ideal gets rough (pulsates and often stalls).

SOUND IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE NOT WORKING PROPERLY.IT SHOULD STEP UP IDLING WHEN YOU TURN ON THE AC TO KEEP ENGINE FROM STALLING OUT.

2000 mitsubishi diamante has spark has fuel up to the injectors and power but wont start.

At injector's, need to check if you have ground pulsation, to check, connect test light on pos (+) battery terminal, now your set to check ground, at injector harness, probe wire's, while some one cranks engine, look for pulsation, if you don't have pulsation, it will need a computer, injector pulsation is control by the computer, if no pulsation, then no fuel can get into cylinder.

Pulsating drone sound when driving

On that car, it's probably one of the brake rotors, if the wheels are torqued unevenly, or too tight, they warp easily.

Pulsating pedal

Sounds like you got a warped rotor best to take them off and have them turned to true them up, its not out of the ordinary to get a warped rotor even if they are new.

Some tune up questions and trouble shooting a running issue.

Actually.....the 5.0 in the 92 Olds Custom Cruiser is a 307 CI 5.0 L engine believe it or not....The Caprice had a 305 CI 5.0 L engine. There is very little difference, but I have one as well and I found that out through the local dealer. The pulsation you feel when driving sounds like a transmission problem to me, but I think it could be from the timing chain issue. I do not know the timing setting for the car, but maybe this will help you to find it. I would try to make sure which motor you actually have first, the 305 or the 307, and then ask the mechanic at the local dealer what the setting should be.
