RUN down to Advance Auto Parts and buy a can of "SeaFoam" and add to your gas tank per for at least 100 miles and the problem should be gone. If not, one or more of your O2 sensors are most-likely fouled (lousy fuel quality these days).
Good Luck

Jundi_Ahmed1 i'm having the same problem as well. I have a 2004 clk as well. Have you found a answer to this. If you have email me. Thanks i have a 2004 clk 320 after driving...

Sound like the ISC actuator it part of the throttle body, and its a reversible motor, it maintains idle speed stability its a motor actuator, and is part of the throttle body but just dont condemd it sevice the throttle body this acuator motor sometime has a hard time moving to adjust RPM.Then there is the MAF(mass airflow sensor) even though this measures good or bad it does not set a code or Check engine light,
Here the most probable cause MAF they have problems on MBZ CLK 320 and only a fuel trim reading can detect problems with this sensor, dont be dependent on ck eng light it wont show, then there is the MAP manifold air pressure after coming to a stop sign the EGR may still be open and not close properly causing the stumble and this wont give a code. So here is the most probable cause the MAF mass air flow going out of range causing lean fuel trim or the EGR pintle not closing properly stumbing the vehicle , so I leave you with MAF or EGR either one or the other or both or just replace both

When at idle the rpm varies between 500-800 (and sometimes stalls). Also, when shifting out of gear, the rpm drops to 100-200 rpm then comes back up. Not sure what it is? Did notice there was a vacuum...

The vacuum hose is your likely culprit. Other possibilities are a leaking EGR valve, air filter clogged, low cylinder compression, fuel filter or fuel injection malfunction. Hope this helps.

replace your fuel filter first. If that does not do it, then try an air-flow meter. (if the check engine light is on it may be an airflow meter.

Rough idle

I took mine in to change the plugs and they said there are four O2 sensors in the fuel mixture system and two were bad. I didn't replace them since they were a little pricey ($500 to replace both) and I have 103,000 on the car. Has very similar roughness and occasional oscillations, but no stalling. Hope this helps.
