Question about 2010 SsangYong Kyron 200Xdi
I have a starting problem with my 2009 Kyron 2.0XDI, the fuel seems to be leaking back to the tank. I have replaced the pressure ball, I have replaced ALL the pipe and connectors with decent hose and hose clamps instead of those silly "O"ring clips. The motor will only fire up after having been cranked for quite a while, and if it doesn't take, shakes itself to *****, and you have to try again. Once she is running, there are no problems. Is there a valve in the low pressure circuit that could be causing this? I am at my wits end, and the dealers are less than useless. Thanks in advance

This might sound too obvious, and you've probably already tried it, but have you stripped and cleaned the carbs yet? could be worth a go, or you could try draining and balancing them first.

Well there only one way the fuel can get into the crankcase and that's from the fuel tank. The petcock must be draining and the float needles are not stopping the fuel flow. Do you have a prime position on the petcock? If so do not run the bike in the position. Try topping the tank off with gas and letting it sit for a while and see is the gas has gone down and then check the crankcase and see if there's fuel in it again. i still say its got to be your petcock.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initial check is to remove the spark plug after giving it a try to start:
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Mistake #1, never try to jump start a motor bike, you may have blown the on board PC unit, best bet is to take it to good Kawka mechanic and let them fix it, bikes these days are fairly complicated..
