If you are referring to the battery save mode that disables interior lighting, radio, and other nonessential accessories after 10 minutes, no.

power saving mode ??? Or do you mean reduced engine power ? Does or is the check engine light coming on as well ? Probably a problem with the electronic throttle control . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

When my mobile phone was having charging problems I downloaded a free app called 'Ampere'. This lets you see what's going on during the charge. Soon became apparent that my problem was the charging lead. A new charger and lead sorted the problem.
Charging from the mains is preferable to a USB point and charging in "Power Off" mode speeds things up.

my guess is this car is A./T car. and you lost the operators guide?
the Power button or any buttons on A/T are as follows, all cars.

1: P/S an other names,
2: OD (locks out overdrive) or allows it.


the power button changes the shift points.
the FSM book even shows the points, graphic.

so if it shifts later, it works better towing a heavy boat up hills.
or if not P mode, then it shifts soon, Grandma,mode and saves a tone of off fuel.
or call it red and green botton

read for wastes fuel.

Limp in mode has to deal with engine sensors and electrical power and grounds from the computer IF the basic engine is good such as compression, fuel pressure, charging system.

you may find you have the screen resolution set to high, try changing to 1024x768 and try again. if this works it means your monitor ain't up to the job of your better machines.

have a load test done on the battery as it appears that there is a dead cell of an internal bridge between cells broken

DO THIS FIRST, I GOT A F150 IT DID THE SAME THING IT TURNED OUT TO BE MY ALTERNATOR, GET THAT CHECKED BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, IT CAUSED MY COMPUTER TO GO HAYWIRE BATTERY RAN DOWN ALSO

Many of these vehicles have a power button by the shifter. It gives extra boost when going up hills or towing Then when it's off, it puts the vehicle in economy gas saving, power saving mode.
