Best thing too do is take vehicle too orilley's parts store and have them run a code check. Computer can have stored code and check engine light not come on. And they do not charge for this service.

Your best bet , take it to a qaulified repair shop , right now , damage the catalytic converter is happening . Flashing check engine light CarMD
-It could be couple things: -Check all air hoses, maker sure good connector (no leak) -If every thing are good then adjust idle screw down little more to 750 -800 rpm.
to whom it may concern. my dmax model 2006 3000 cc lately having problem like engine suddenly stop especially when it slow,fuel filter already new fuel line been check but the problem still there.anyone been encountered this problem before what is the problem?
try changing the spark plugs and wires on a engine that old. cap rotor, and carb cleaner. on something that old you could be looking at alot of different things.
the check engine light means that a code has been set. the code will reference a faulty system that must be diagnosed and repaired. sorry for the vagueness, but there are e gads of codes that can cause the rough idling
most aftermarket parts places will scan the car for free. this will give you an idea of where to start.
