What are the symptoms: CRANCK NO START OR NO CRANK, NO START? Start with condition of battery and its cables to starter. Look for corrosion an looseness. If all of these items are a-ok then move onto fuel pump. When you place ignition key in ignition and turn the vehicle to on position you should hear the pump buzz. You can also check this by placing a rag by the fuel line Schrader valve in the engine compartment and hooking up a pressure gauge to this valve. Is there any pressure if not then its the fuel pump .Before I go any further into surgery look into the items I have just explained. Good luck and keep me posted

I have a 95 jeep Cherokee I went to fill up as I was putting gas the jeep was running. Once it was full I turn jeep off went into store came out and it wouldn't start back up. Changed the coil nothing...

Could be the ecu in need of repair, not sending power to the coil. If there is no check engine light coming on, in the dash, with the ignition turned on, then it's probably the ecu.

The engine turns over but will not start i changed the coil but no change .

Have you check for spark after the coil was replace . Have you check for fuel. If you dont have spark at the coil tower when cranking the truck over . I would look at changing the Ign module . Not sure if on your model of truck if it is mounted on the brackent near the coil or if it is under the cap

Wont start in wet weather

the coil pack is a series of coils if he replaced the pack then all the coils were replaced. now the question is were they new or were they a junk yard part. try replacing the rotor under the distributer cap.

1989 chevy 1500 v8 wont start out of the blue changed icm, coil getting fuel no spark draws current at the coil when key is turned

That old of a vehicle you might want to take the cap off and check to see if the shaft is turning. You will be able to see the rotor turning. Also look inside the cap and see if the rotor and cap are good inside.

You said you changed the ignition coil module, not sure if you mean you changed the coil too, if not change that.

hope this helped

My 2002 Ford Explorer wont crank!

I'm assuming the coilpack got wet!! Check if there is any power to the coil before changing. If thats fine, replace the coil. If there is no power, check your electrical circuit for the coil. Hopefully this helps

Car won't start

Did you put a multimeter on the coil and check for voltage coming out of the coil? To do this put the ground lead of the meter on the battery ground, then turn the ignition on and touch the positive lead of the meter to the coil. It should read around 12 volts.

Won't start , electrical problem ?

Not sure on the 04 model, however I have had to change the PICK UP coil which is different from the main coil. The engine ran and then just stopped like I turned it off and would not start.
Check to see if you have a Pick UP coil that may be out.
