About the only thing that will gain ya any fuel mileage is the cold air intake, as for how much ck the mfg package they ought to know how much , the other two ideas won't do ya no good just move the load from fan belt to alternator thats run from same belt , unless your planning to line your roof line in aerodynamic shape solar panels to run them, Now that might work ,but nevers been done that i know of so i have no data on mileage gain for that one

Whats the advantage of a cold air intake on a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3L

Installing a cold air intake kit like a K&N or Airaid will actually do both, give you a horsepower gain and better fuel mileage. you will notice better throttle response and you will not need to give it as much throttle to go the same speed as before and therefore you should see an increase in gas mileage(if you dont go hotrodding around!).

Let me help you kill two birds with one stone. I own a 2001 chevy s10 pickup. I wanted more power and better gas milage, so I installed a cold air intake. With a cold air intake, your engine will ignite more oxygen, therefore saving gas. It also boasts your horsepower quite a bit that you can feel in your performance. I don't know about those performance chips. There are rumors about them that they do not work at all.

wont help but taking that cat off will also if your running rich truck needs less fuel more air check air filter....cutting that catylitic off depends on where u are check the law.....but that will improve mileage alot ...so would dual exhaust....BTW all the O2 sensor does is tell u when its out of wack so cant see it being the problem if no engine light warnings...

Where is the fuel pressure regulator 1997 chevrolet ck 1500

It is part of the intake manifold, behind the throttle body, next to the fuel injector assembly. That is on the 5.7 V8.

this is quite common as rear brakes are not used as much under normal operation, i've seen this on several cars including some with lower mileage than yours
