I have a mitsubishi galant 03 and I hhave two computer codes and need to know what they are so I can buy the part the codes are 0171 and 0134

P0134: O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected
P0171: System Too Lean
The O2 (oxigen) sensor has failed and because of that the ECM can't control the engine properly so the mixture is too lean. Replace the O2 sensor and check its wiring. The sensor is located on the exhaust line right before the catalyst converter.

The speedometer cable could be broken or loose. The speed sensor is prbly your problem. Do you have a tachometer? If so does it still work?

Transmission fliter

There could be two different locations for the filter.
1 could be located inside the Trany Pan.
the other could be located next to the Trany Dip stick.
If it is not next to the dip stick it may be located in the pan.
I have an '03 auto trany and bought the wrong oil filter. I have not yet repalced the filter. Don't know if it even has one in the pan.
