Will it go back up? if so put it up and check to see if something is in it's way or under it when you closed it. if it doesn't move you can call and ask the dealer parts guy for the location of the fuse or go by and he can print you a picture for free.

Open the hood and look on the wall of the engine compartment
on the driver's side. About 3/4 of the way from the front of the car to
the windshield you will see a large black box. This is the engine
compartment fuse and relay box. Undo the clip holding down the front of
the box and open it; it is hinged on the back so the top opens like a

Open the driver's side door. Kneel down on the ground by the
foot pedals. Look on the driver's side wall under the dashboard. You
will see a small black box right by the door. This is the passenger
compartment fuse box. This box also has a clip to keep the front closed
and hinges on the back.
convertible top could be low on hydralic fluid if you have trouble getting top open or closed.check hydralic fluid hydralic pump located in trunk area look for a screw type check plug on side or end of motor pump assembly.give me more detail about back window panel stuck up.
Turn on the radio so the battery is engaged, or turn on the engine.
Fold down the cargo partition in
the trunk and lock it on both sides. If the cargo partition is not
down, there will be no place in the trunk to store the convertible top.
Press the convertible button
forward to open the top. It's located under the circular control button
on the consul. The button has a picture of a window with one arrow
pointing up and another pointing down.
Pull the convertible button backward to close the top.
Use your key to open or close
the top when you are outside of the BMW but still close to it. Press and
hold the arrow button on top of your key to open the top. To close the
top, press and hold the Lock button. The car does not need to be
turned on to operate the top with the key.
firstly open all doors and open all the locks on the drivers door open and close the locks a few times to make sure it isnt a stuck lock
1.) pop the hood 2.) under the hood locate the fuse box (it has a covering over it and should be in a very accessible place) 3.) remove the cover and look under the cover you will see a diagram 4.) look for a fuse labled AC, ACC, ACCA or accessories 5.) pull that fuse it should be burnt, replace with a similar fuse..
Sounds like the sensor has faulted or the pump has become disengaged. Usually when the light is flashing it's a sensor. You can check for a pinched line or low fluid also. There is a manual lock overide procedure to get the windows up, it's in you owners manual. Good luck...i hope this helps,
