Is this the first time you used the A/C this season? Chances are there is a slow leak in the system and the low pressure switch has opened the compressor circuit inhibiting the compressor from turning....it's sort of a fail safe to keep the compressor from burning up.

You have to be sure that the a/c system is fully charged. The compressor has a pressure switch on it that will only allow the compessor to come on if the system has the right pressure. Hope this helps and have a great day.

I bought a new ac compressor but my ac still doesn't work, I can rig it to where it would be cool air but how to fix it to where it is suppose to be and the ac works with the air compressor?

your best bet is to have a qualified repair shop look at it . Can't tell you from here , you don't even say what make , model or year it is . The A/C compressor isn't tuning on when you push the button , correct ? When you push the A/C button it sends a signal to the BCM or PCM ,which then energizes the A/C compressor clutch relay . Who replaced the compressor ? Was there a vacuum pulled on the system ? Were the high an low pressure cut out switches tested How to Fix your Car AC System Compressor Coil Clutch Relay Low and High...

My AC power box want turn on compressor

What make , model an year vehicle ? What are you talking about AC power box ? HVAC control panel - heating , ventilation , air conditioning is proper terminology . An it depends on the kind of vehicle , most newer vehicles well from 96 on there are serial data communication networks involved . You push the A/C button an the HVAC control module sends a message on the data bus ,the PCM - engine computer reads it an gives a ground to the A/C relay energizing it turning on the compressor !

03 grand am ac wont blow cold air

Two things are very likely to be your problem. Freon or compressor. Turn on the ac on cold and see if the compressor is engaging, if it is and stops and goes or if it doesn't. try to check the compression on the low side of your ac, the smallest plug where you service the ac. Or take it to an ac professional to get it refilled or checked. Remember, just because its blowing air, it doesn't mean its working. There are fans inside the car that push the cold air inside your vehicle and most of the time these will work, but that's not the only part required to blow cold air inside your car, the compressor is what makes the air cold.

2001 Honda Passport/Isuzu Rodeo a/c not getting cold, fan in grill not turning, there is plenty of freon and inside controls/fan working fine. Is there a fuse for the other fan?

Yes there is a fuse for the other fan, generally inside the engine bay as apposed to inside the vehicle. I would think it is more likely to be the clutch on your compressor unit that is not engaging when you press the AC button. In this case the fuse on the AC button is responsible and this is also found inside the engine bay. Check either of these fuses and you should get the AC working. If not then there may be insufficient pressure in your AC system or your compressor unit needs changing out.

The air condition wont turn on. The windows dont work, and the spedometer doesnt work

This just happened to me yesterday. First, push the AC button to turn the AC off. Then, find the fuse pannel on the driver's side under the dash. Mine is behind the ash tray. Replace the 10 amp fuse (marked fuse #18 on my 1995 Camry manual) and the windows, spedo, tach, etc will come back on. My problem is the bearings on my AC clutch heated up a plastic piece between the AC clutch and AC compressor and the plastic piece blew up and sprayed hot plastic all around the AC compressor. The car runs, but no AC and if I push the AC button, the fuse blows again. I am planning to unbolt the compressor from the engine block, and replace the clutch assembly and pully without disconnecting the hoses. Disconnecting the hoses will vent coolant to the atmosphere and require professional equipment to clean the oil from the system, pull a vaccuum and recharge the system. The AC compressor clutch assembly is available at Advanced Auto for $98. The whole compressor is $247 but requires a lot of work to recharge. You could also take the clutch assembly or whole compressor off and just leave it off and get a shorter (40" in my case) belt to go just to the alternator.
Good Luck.
