Assuming your truck has cruise control, this has been a common thing with these vehicles. The radio's volume is designed to increase if the vehicle's Body Control Module sensed that:
-you rolled a window down
-you accelerated
Ford's recommended repair is to reprogram the BCM. Runs about $90-120 at most dealers.

Radio volume increases to the maximum by itself

Check if TA (Traffic Announce) function is turned on - sometimes radio station is using that feature improperly, thus causing volume to go up by itself.

Ford escape 2014 power moon roof barely tilts open

This is normal. The reason it raises higher is due to the design of the sliding arms in the moon roof. without going into too much detail, the reason it raises before closing is to "unlock" itself from from the "Locked" open Position in order to get to the "Locked" closed position. Its a fancy way of making it seal well when closed and not rattle when open

Volume won't go up on radio in 2009 Hyundai Sonata

If it has on the steering wheel controls, they are bad. They use a carbon type impregnated rubber and being in hot and cold can cause this. IT could also be the clock spring in the steering column or if none of those apply then it is radio itself.

Will a radio from a 03 ford explorer fit in a 05 ford escape? The 05 escape has the pins you need to take it out. The explorer doesn't, that has two bolts. Just wondering if it will or could work.

They have kits to retrofit radios. Another thing that will cost is having the radio reprogrammed. Everything has theft lock on them now days. You would be better off to get a aftermarket stereo

Will the stereo from an 02 Ford Explorer fit in an 03 Ford Escape?

I think it may, but you'll have to verify by comparing the size of the box and location of screws.

Maybe consult BestBuy, since they have experts there who actually install radios and decks in cars at many locations.

Radio volume goes up and down when its on a low volume not on high

Check the dealer and see if your radio automatically adjust to your speed. Some radios were built to raise the volume when driving at higher speeds and when you get in slow traffic or when you stop it would automatically adjust down the volume. You can also go to a Radio Shack and get a spray cleaner for electrical parts and pull the volume knob off of your radio and spray the volume control and turn it rapidly to remove any hidden dirt on that volume control.

Outback radio light went out.

I am a service advisor for Subaru, and one of two things happened. Either your headlights are still on and this causes the lights on the radio to become extremely dim during the day. The other issue is the radio itself. It is not uncommon for these radios to go bad. They should be covered under factory warranty. If yours is out raise hell with the dealer and see if you can get assistance. If the dealer wont cooperate, ask for customer dealer services number and raise hell with them. They will call the dealer and try to get help for you. Good luck
