Either the turn signal arm or a foot switch at the driver left foot area---pull the turn signal arm towards the driver to see if it clicks the headlights bright or dim-----if not, then look for a small floor switch that you step on to click on and off

The headlights on my 1965 ford thunderbird start blinking once the lime green wires at the dimmer switch get hot. Replaced dimmer switch to no avail and the wires are not hot at the firewall or headlights,...

Cars built before 1990 had a circuit breaker built into the headlight switch. That breaker is doing its job.
The problem is something is drawing too much current like too many plugs in a wall outlet at home.
It could be corrosion in the harness or a connection, or the headlight switch could be faulty.

Why won't my headlights work on my 1990 buick lesabre?

On a 1990 Buick you have a fuseable link between the headlight switch and the battery.
Do you have power in and out of the headlight switch and the dimmer switch ?

Headlight problem

I guess that means replacing the bulbs didn't work? The only other thing might be the dimmer switch. Its located on the bottom of the steering column, about halfway down fron the steering wheel.

Where is the dimmer switch located in a 94 Chevy S10 pickup truck. Thank you

It is the thumb wheel just to the right of the headlight switch. Runs up and down. Also just below air vent.

the dimmer switch is located in the steering column and is a part of the turn signal module. you must remove the steering wheel, column cover to remove the turn signal/dimmer switch module.

How do you remove the dimmer switch on a 1990 buick lesabure

open the driver's door, and on the side of the dash there are two thumb screws. turn them and they pop out. this lets you remove the panel around the dimmer and headlight switches. remove two screws holding the switch in and it's out.

1990 Jeep Wrangler Problem:

1990 Jeep Wrangler. Driving with lights on for 10 - 15 minutes. First the dash lights go out followed by the headlight and tail lights. If you pull the dimmer switch back (like you would to flash your brights at someone) the head lights will come on and as long as you continue to pull back on the dimmer switch the head lights will stay on bright.
