SOURCE: Speedo cruise on the audi 100 does not work

The cable was probably not reattached to the throttle body, or the wiring for the cruise module was not plugged back in. The VW/Audi cruise control system does not use engine vacuum, it uses it's own vacuum pump. Vacuum runs from the pump/control module to the vacuum reservoir that pulls on the throttle cable. The is also another vacuum line that runs to the brake pedal, which is a safety feature (press the brake pedal and the vacuum to the vacuum reservoir is instantly cut, releasing the throttle and disengaging the cruise control.)

Audi a4 19tdi replaced fuel pump n cylinder head, now won't start any advice

If it is the fuel injector pump you replaced you might have air in it. Modern pumps are self bleeding but you have to turn the engine over for a long time to get the air out.

Have you checked the timing when you put everything back?

1998 audi a4 quatro - where is the coolant part in

CTS is at the back of the engine, behind and below the passenger side cylinder head, beneath the intake pipe going from the mass airflow sensor to the throttle body. It's either black or blue in your car, has four wires coming off the connector plugged into the top of it, and has a retaining clip that holds it as well. Get a new clip when you buy the sensor - they're plastic and break easily.
