SOURCE: overheating on ford bantam

there are three probable causes that may result to overheating one inadequate circulation of coolant within the cooling system. The radiator is clogged with dirt some stems are closed.try to flush the radiator using rad flushing fluid. Second improper bleeding of trap air within the cooling system. Third the water pump blades are worn out inadequate circulation of coolant.

Hie I am Moses residing in South Africa I have got a ford bantam 2003 model which is having 2 of my spark plugs wet every time and they are 1 and 2. last year in August an overhaul was done on it.

You do not say wet with what, gasoline or water. I'll assume it is water so I would start the vehicle while cold, remove the radiator cap and check for air bubbles in the water. It does sound as if there is a leak in the head gasket since it is between adjacent cylinders. It could also be the manifold gasket which has water going through it also. Run a compression check on the two cylinders to confirm a bad gasket. If this is ruled out, it is most likely the intake manifold gasket.

What can be the problem I just put the cylinder head back on car but didn't want to start its only starts when we kickstart and the smoke is white. It is a diesel 1.8 bantam.

WHITE SMOKE, ON A DIESEL ESPECIALLY, MEANS COOLANT IS SEEPING PAST THE GASKET. REMOVE THE HEAD AGAIN AND USE A NEW GASKET. SEND THE HEAD TO A MACHINE SHOP TO HAVE IT MAGNAFLUXED FOR CRACKS AND CHECKED THAT THE SURFACE IS FLAT AND TRUE. THE DECK MUST BE CLEAN AND UN -SCARRED.

My ford bantam 2005 1.3 is making a hooter noise while driving

sounds like a joke post but I will humor you.
Unplug the Hooter (must be a South African) and see if the noise stops. Also check that the bolt holding it on is not coming loose. Some horns (hooter) make that sound if they vibrate.

My ford bantam has blue smoke from the exhoust what does this mean

blue smoke from any internal combustion engine indicates it's burning oil along with the air/fuel mixture........this can be caused by gaskets or seals. in higher mileage engines it can be caused by worn internal parts

We recently redone my ford bantam engine but keep on over heating

have a compression test done to check for head gasket. Head bolts bottoming out and not tightening the head down. Check if the thermostat is in the correct way and it has to be in the system. IF diesel check the pump timing as too far advanced will overheat the engine.. If it took some time to do and the radiator was left to dry out check for flow rate through the cores as the mud in the cores drys out and blocks the cores

Guys I've got a problem with a ford bantam 1.6i 2003 model rocam engine, its overheating even though the cylinder head was skim but it still overheating. please assist!

Check what head gasket was used . I suspect that an after market gasket was used. If that is the case there will be holes in the block and head thet have no matching holes in the gasket thereby causing the problem

Water in engine? please help!

Pls make the following checks with the engine off and cold,
1)Take the radiator cap off.
2) Make sure your hands are clean and dry.
3)Put your index finger into the radiator cap hole for 1 second.
4)Remove your finger and check it for oil.
5)If you get oil on your finger your cylinder head gasket has blown .
6) You must then drain the engine of its oil and water mixture and replace the cylinder head gasket, dont drive the vehicle for it's just gonna make the repairs more expensive for you.
