Loud noise coming from back passenger side wheel when backing up

When I back up my 2002 trailblazer a loud whirring sound comes from the back passenger side wheel. Not sure if a bearing is out or not. Do not hear the noise when in drive. Just backing up in reverse.

Sounds more like a brake wear sensor. The inner pads wear faster than the outer, so if you are checking pad wear, be sure to look at the inner pad. If you just had brake work done, one of the anti rattle clips on a pad may be contacting the brake rotor.

How does a bad wheel bearing sound on a lincoln Mkz awd?

due to the awd you cant just jack up each wheel and spin it . when i road test for w/brg noise you listen for a slight whirring hum that increases and decreases with speed or sometime as you swerve back and forth you hear it as the vehical weight shifts side to side (right swerve left w'brg left swerve right w'brg) as a rule but not always . have a passenger sit in the back to help verify front or rear> dont guess and just replace one .
w'brg's come in three flavors cheap mid grade and premium.
the labour to change is the same. my advice dont end up paying for the labour twice buy the better or best , cheap parts cost more in the long run!

Smoke coming back passenger side tire smoking and made loud bang sound

My guess is the brake is being applied by the ABS system due to a leaking hydraulic valve in the hydraulic control section of the ABS module.

Noise coming from the rear end of my 2004 honda pilot it really only occurs during cold weather and after it warms up you hear it slightly

When does the noise occur, while driving only, or driving and idle, in gear, or in neutral and park? If it occurs all the time (while driving and at a stand still in cold weather) it could be the fuel pump. If it occurs only while driving, it may be a wheel bearing. Describe the noise (humming, grinding, whirring, etc), and what is the mileage on the Pilot? Answer my questions so I can fine tune my answer. Thanks!

2002 trailblazer making loud humming noise when driving

When you turn right - you're taking weight off the right wheel.
If the noise dissipates - the passenger side wheel bearing is most likely to blame.

Thanks

CV-joint (axle) but most likely the wheel bearing like mentioned. When you turn right the weight shifts to the left taking the load off the right passenger side bearing.
