Need know where expansion valve is on 2007 nission quest

Have you checked your system pressure? Are you sure that it is kicking out for high pressure? and not low pressure and just need a bit of charge? If it is kicking out on the high side for a clogged expansion valve you have to remember that an A/C system is a sealed system, if there is debris inside of the system and has clogged the expansion valve that there is only once place for it to come from and I would expect to be changing the compressor soon.

Where is the rear expansion vale located on 07 tahoe

{: ) You can find the rear expansion valve at the bottom of the auxiliary hvac module, mounted at level with the floor. The auxilliary hvac is just behind the rear right fender, concealed from the inside by the rear right quartertrim panel. But you can access the expansion valve from underneath the vehicle. A little behind the rear right wheel, look through from below , follow the path of the a/c pipes ending upwards in a rectangular juction. Just be careful with nearby hot surfaces and falling dust. Protect your eyes.

Rear air on a 2007 Explorer never gets cold, even though the front air is ice cold. The heating part works fine, but the A/C never gets cold.

We had this problem on a 2004 Freestar, and the expansion valve was plugged next to the rear evaporator. The expansion valve allows the freon to flow through the evaporator and cool it. I replaced it and it works good.

A/C unit in 2007 Dodge Durango

Yep,I'd agree. The difference in coldness is unrelated to the compressor issue. That a bad vent motor or something like that on the heater box in front. Change the "h" valve or otherwise known as the "expansion" valve too.
