Unbolt the reciever dryer and the line remove and replace it and dont forget to use new Orings, Evacuate, check for leaks then recharge w dye type R134 freon. The dye will be in the system now so if it leaks anywhere you can easily find it with a UV detector light and glasses. Good luck.

SOURCE: how do you get to the front wheel bearings on a

For the most part it is very similar to doing a brake job, you will need to gain access to disc area. once you have removed the caliper you will need to remove the dust cap, this will allow you to remove the nut that secures the disc to the spindle. after you access to the front bearing, remove and set aside, put washer and nut back on, slide rotor out tapping it to remove rear bearing, remove nut/washer and hand pack with wheel bearing grease. re assemble, check and bleed brakes if necessary, Good Luck!

Grease the Ball Joints, three per side (upper control arm, lower control arm, steering tie rod. if there aren't any grease zerks, its time to replace your ball joints. You can do this yourself with the parts from AutoZone or O'Reilly or Napa. I suggest you rent the ball joint tool as it will make your work a lot easier.

If my Toyota Tacoma front wheel spins and needs grease where do I put it and what kind of grease? Is it in the hog head?

If you get a grinding sound from the bearing when the wheel is off the ground and spinning the you DO NOT grease it...there is no zerk (grease fitting), You have a bad wheel bearing and you must either change the bearing or change the entire wheel hub assembly. Good luck.

I want to lube my truck but I can't find any zerk fittings.

Some auto parts shop have a needle like grease valve that fits on top of your grease gun and with this a small insertion is made on the boots and grease can be pumped in.Fittings nowadays are made to last a certain miles and after that should be changed eg Universal joints, rod ends, ball joints etc

No factory grease fitting (zerks) on this vehicle. I am NOT a fan of this but I guess I'm just old school. BTW: my 2006 Toyota Tundra has 15 grease fittings under it.

Squeaking Steering!

Sounds like you might have ball joint problems. This usually happens when they are not greased. Some of these models do not have grease zerk`s.If it does then you can try greasing them but they might be plugged with rust.I would grease the whole front suspension.Hope this helps.Good luck.

How do I grease the u-joints on the back of the drive shaft? on a 2000 toyota tacoma prerunner 2.7 liter

Grease gun with an adapter that allows you to get into a tighter space. Any auto parts place will sell these. Note, that a lot of replacement u-joints have grease fittings, as some stock ones don't require grease.
