I'm having the same problem with our 2004 Kia Spectra. The battery is good, and we replaced the starter. After replacing the starter, the car worked great for 4 days, now its back to the same "click" when I try to start it. I have no idea what to do next, but I hear that there are clutch problems with the Kia. I'm wondering if the clutch could have something to do with it.

Try to disconect the batery completly and then jump start it without your battery connected if it starts then your battery has a bad cell and is shorting out internally

Check to see if your battery cables are tight and clean. Even with a boost, it won't help if your connections are bad. If you are sure everything is tight, then it could be your starter is jammed in the ring gear, and will need to be taken off, or the starter or solenoid is just no good, and will need to be replaced.

If the batty is really dead it wont take an charge ,also check for loose batty cables, next if batty is fully change the next step is your starter.

SOURCE: clicking noise when trying to start car, battery is ok, wont start

That Clicking is the Battery causing it not to Start. You need to Replace that Battery or at Least put a Charger on it for a Couple of hours to see if you can Salvage it for a While.

Clicking noise wont start

Sounds like a weak solenoid on the starter. Probably needs starter replacement. Those cars need a mechanic to work on them.

Lights flash when trying to jump start a saab 9000

Read the owner's manual about jump starting. It may be different than 'normal' cars. Also, the lights flashing is probably related to the car's alarm needing reset. .....again read the owner's manual for more info.

Go to turn the vehicle on - where the dash lights all light up - then turn to start the truck and things go blank - then I start hearing these "click" "click" "click" sounds

It sounds like what you need to do is check your batteries. Clean the cables and terminals very well, then tried again. If it still won't start your battery might be dead. Jump it or charge it and tried again. If it starts but later I will not start you might have a charging system problem or a bad batteries.

Hi!!

The clicking you are hearing, is the sound of a weak battery, Jump start the vehicle and take it to an AutoZone for a Charging System check.

When i start my lucida it cranks once ,then clicks and clicks and

go ahead and jump it. your battery is dead or you have a bad connection with the battery cables. try jump starting it or at least hooking up a battery charger over night. (the engine size of the vehicle wont determin if it will be able to jump start the other vehicle.)
