Pop up the head lights with the button on the dash turn ignition off undo the Phillips head screws that surround the headlight black casing remove two long screws one from the top and one from the side light will come out unplug the cable pull the black rubber off and remove the clip take bulb out and replace simple

Open the hood at the back of the headlight there will be a cover that has to be removed,on this model i think its easier to remove the headlight unit ,unless you can get your hand in behind it after removing the cover ,then there is a spring clip that needs moving then bulb can be removed the reverse for replacing

check the ground connection of the bulbs. check the light switch. the headlight relay is located under the dash or under the hood.

Mazda astina pop up lights wont go back down


Try to check if there is something stuck to the motor of the pop-up lights mechanism. You can see it below the fenders. The fender liner should be removed.

It's fine to use a battery with a higher cold crank rating than original. Consider the rating in the manual to be a minimum requirement.
