Question about 2000 Chevrolet Blazer
Car will try to start, but will not turn over. I get a "volt" message when I try to start the car. Alternator, and battery are good.
Sound like alternator.but check your drive belt.make its not loose.because belt tensioner can get weak cause belt to slip.if all is good charge battery.battery voltage should be 12.5. with engine off.with engine running alternator out put should be 13.5 volts to 14.5 bolts.if not its the alternator.also check alternator voltage regulator wire.make sure the wire is not frayed or broken.
