Question about Suzuki Sidekick
I recently slid off the road in my 97 side kick sport. And now i don't have any spark going to my spark plugs what would cause that?
There is a fuel pump shutoff on most cars. Look in the owners manual. The reset button is usually located inside the vehicle near the gas cap (just in front of the gas cap). Usually a small rubber grommet or access panel that you pop off and press a button.
The button lets the fuel pump and engine control activate again.
Rear bar impact, roll over (or almost roll over) will activate the safety feature.

If the oil is on the outside of the plug it's likely to be a leaky valve cover gasket. Oily on the tip means its not firing. Take the plug wire for the oily plug off and reinstall it on both ends, it's likely not making proper connection on one end. Also check that wire closely for swelling, cracks, burnt marks, etc. If any of that is present that could stop it from firing and a new set of wires will probably fix you up. Hope this helps.

Testimonial: "It was the wires and the distributor cap that was causing the missing. I sorta thought that but its always good too to double check myself!! thanks"
lock your doors and close it wait till alarm resets and then unlock door with key and this should take care of you problem

You'd be better off just replacing the battery because a failing battery is going to lead to even more problems! I'm not sure on that specific model but can you take out a fuse? Or disconnect the horn?
