By not working on A/C Systems in the first place

Take to a shop

Can't work in any area of expertise without training or a
mentor & proper tools of the trade

Tying to add refrigerant to any vehicle, is a sure way to ruin
it & run up your repair costs

If it needs to be added to, you have a leak to fix

So everyone ruins the vehicles system, lets in air & polutes
the atmosphere with refrigerent

SOURCE: how much does it cost

YOU'LL BE LOOKING AT REMOVING THE HEAD, TO GET TO THE VALVE! SO YOU'LL BE LOOKING AT NEW INTAKE, AND EXHAUST GASKETS, PLUS A NEW HEAD GASKET, AND THE VALVE! PARTS STORE CAN GIVE YOU THE COST OF THE PARTS! AND IF YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF, YOU SAVE THE COST OF LABOR! IF NOT, IT CAN BE COSTLY, UNLESS YOU HAVE A GOOD FRIEND, THAT'S MECHANICALLY INCLINED!

I need to know where the ac charge port is for my 05 uplander

Keep calm because the A/C accumulator is on the left inner fender . This will be a round aluminum cylinder with two lines coming out of it. Follow the large line that runs back to the firewall. You should see a shadder valve in this line. This will be the suction line or low side line. This will be the line used to charge the A/C system.
There are already "easy" and "cheap" packages to charge A/C in the Chevy Uplander so I can only wish you the best and hope you can fix this issue as soon as you finish to read my solution and rate it as the best one! "Just a hint, do not hesitate to recontact me again if any other issues".
From Keep Calm, tell me your problem and I solve it,the best on FixYa.

2007 suzuki forenza a/c stop throwing cold air comprsor is still working

  • Sounds like your AC system is out of refrigerant. You have a couple options.
  • You can get a can of R134 from the parts store and try to give your system a charge. This might get you through the summer.
  • You may have to go to a shop and have them put your AC system under a vacuum and then charge your AC system.
  • An AC system is a sealed system and well never blow warm air unless a leak develops. So be advised any charge you give your AC system is only temporary until a dye is put into the system and the leak is found and fixed.

Which pins are shorted on AC pressure switch to get the AC compressor to cycle to fill unit with freon?

You should not have to do anything to charge that AC system, except to start the engine and turn on the AC to maximum, then charge the AC system, when there is enough pressure in the system the low pressure switch will trip the AC compressor on and you can continue to fully charge the AC system.
