You may have broken a hydraulic line on your power swearing. The hot power steering fluid smells like burned electrical insulation.

Squealing sound and smoke with plastic smell from near my power steering fluid fill sounds like a belt when trying to accelerate

Towanda. Get that car to a garage as quick as you can. You have a slipping drive belt and it is about to break. When it goes you have no battery charging but more importantly your power steering will become manual steering. How strong are your arms?

Smoke from steering wheel

Not a clue but I would take it to a dealer and have it checked. If it ever goes up in flames you do not want to be in the car.

Burning smell

vechicle could be burning oil.or look under hood for valve cover gasket leaks. oil leaking on hot engine and exhaust manifold will cause burn smell.check drive belt could be slipping.make sure brakes not dragging or if you replace brakes pads you will smell burn smell until new brake shoes or pads break in.

Sometimes when I turn into my driveway or sharp turns I smell burning oil and smoke comes from my engin but goes away...What could it be?

Check fluids on the power steering. Have someone to watch that area while you turn the wheel. Especially, on the side that you notice the smoke.

My steering has been tight, i was driving hope and i heard a noise then my truck started to sqeek and then there was smoke coming from my engnie. i made it home and looked what it could be and the belt...

Best guess it that your power steering pump has fail or that a power steering hose has burst, more likely the latter. The smoke and smell would be from the power steering fluid burning on the hot exhaust manifold. It is possible that the fluid also got on the brakes.
Your question is a bit unclear.
Inspect the engine. Is a belt broken? Look at the fluid level on the power steering pump.
Post comment with what you find and I will try to help you further. j

1995 dodge stratus smells like something burning, can't find any leaks. Smoke at back of motor. Temp gauge goes half way when I smell it. It never runs hot. What can this be???

sounds like oil leaking on the exhaust, this can be engine oil or power steering fluid, have the car put up in the air and checked, this can cause a fire if not repaired.
