It can be charged in either or both depending on what you are using to charge it. if you have a small can from a part store, then you charge the low side.(it should only fit one port). if using a machine it can be done thru either or both.

Where is the low side on my 1998 chevrolet malibu

Hello: There are two lines coming off the compressor, a large line and a smaller line. The larger line is the low side line. Follow it and you will find the service valve. It will either in the line or on the accumulator.

Trying to find the slow side of the a/c on a 1998 BUICK park ave

Good Evening, on the park avenue the low side is the smaller of the two a/c connectors. The usual places are on the passenger side of the car back by the firewall you will see a big silver can (dryer) and should be in that general area on the bigger aluminum line. The smaller aluminum line is the high pressure line. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Joey

Find low pressure a/c port

Hi, if you have found the compressor, the 2 hoses or lines coming off of it , the larger of the 2 is the low side, and the smaller the high pressure side. Charge through the low only.

Where to put freon for ac

most charge it threw the low side ac line, there is 2 high side and low the low is the bigger fitting of the two, and should be capped follow the ac lines you will find it. However I really suggest you have it done with a AC machine by a certified tech. There is moisture in the system, what refrigerent that is in there should be recycled then a vacum to get it out, it also takes some ofthe old oil out and new put back in usually best mixed with uv dye to detect a leak later. Good luck

I need to charge my a/c 98 range rover. I have

The two nozzles should be different in size. The smaller one is the High. The bigger one is the Low. Your recharge kit will fit securely only on the Low. It should engage and lock in place.

Where is the freon intake located on a 2003 malibu

Follow hoses from compressor to firewall area, or other way back, but follow largest diameter hose & tubing, & find valve on it. Bigger diameter is usually low side.
