it may be easier to attach the breaker bar to the tensioner arm from under the vehicle to relieve belt tension

you need a scanner to reset the service engine soon light but it will come back on until you fix the problem you need to check system to get a trouble code

The EGR Valve is located under hood, center, rear engine area, mounted top rear driver side of engine.
Fig. 11: Unfasten the EGR valve retaining bolts...
Fig. 12: ...then remove the EGR valve from the vehicle
