Im trying to take my dashboard off so I can fix my radio and I don't know how to remove my dashboard. the radio's power wire has a short I guess and I need to replace it. Can anyone help me out?
Most all instrument panels are easily removed. there should be 2 or 3 Phillips or 7mm screws holding a dress ring in place remove tilt wheel down,(sometimes you must turn key and WITH FOOT ON BRAKE OR PARKING BRAKE SET,shift gear selector to "1" to get it out of the way) remove dress ring. then there will be 4- 7mm screws holding panel in place, remove those, pull panel out a little ways and unplug electrical plug-in, you can unhook positive battery cable if you want but is not necessary, then remove instrument panel. reverse sets to install new panel. please rate my answer, thank :-)

you have to call the pontiac dealer parts dept and he will tell you how to get the code you may have to prove ownership for the car because the anti-theft is activated at this time

You need a three jaw puller to remove the balancer. After you remove the center bolt the puller hooks into the three holes in the balancer.
