The first step is to get a scan and see why the check engine light is on.Unfortunately it could be any number of things.Bad crank angle sensor,bad camshaft sensor just to name two items that I have seen cause a no start.good luck

NOTORIOUS// replace the ignition switch and you'll be fine. switch is still live when you take your key out. there's a short from the switch to the battery.

The camshaft position sensor is located on the engine near the timing belt cover and under the upper radiator hose.

well if she ran it to long with no oil it might be locked up and might be able to turn it over if its not to bad. but you should still get power going to your fuel pump i would check all connection going to fuel pump and no broken wires. try even un plugging battery to see if there's a bypass
