Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix
I'd definitley look at the fuel pump resistor first. Otherwise I'd say it's the fuel pump. But to find out before you spend too much money it may be worth your while to change the fuel filter, that will at least help whether the pump is bad or not.

I have a 2001 GTP. It has been through 3 steering racks in 50,000 miles. I think it's a common problem with these cars. All the window regulators have been replaced. The lower intake manifold was replaced. It goes through a set of brakes in about 15,000 miles. It's not one of the better cars I've owned.
