Disconnect battery cable at battery, be sure it is positioned to not contact any metal within engine compartment while disconnected. Disconnect all wiring at starter, usually two wires, one slightly larger than the other. Unbolt and remove starter. China OBD2 car diagnostic tools wholesale on CareUCar

Remove the facia plate, and remove the 4 screws that hold the radio in place. It's actually one of the simplest cars you can do.

SOURCE: Have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata

No, that's wrong. The setup on the Sonata doesn't normally require messing with the shift lock release at all. I had the same problem tonight for the first time after owning the car for a year and a half, that's why I looked up this issue.

SOURCE: locating, removing and replacing starter

The starter is located below the exhaust manifold on the LH side of the engine (side facing the radiator). It is held in place by two 14mm bolts on the transmission side. Be sure to disconnect the battery before you attempt to remove the starter.

It could be something else but this is a 2011, There pretty much right on with the codes now a days. The pressure sensor for the manifold shouldn't be that hard or expensive to replace. Unfortunately is an electrical part, that's the biggest problem. Good Luck
