SOURCE: 2003 acura tl won't crank over.
Sounds like tranny froze up. Not what you wanted to hear, but the shop that put the tranny in should have given you a warranty. The lights came on, because the engine stalled. Please rate me if you find this helpful, thank you.

these cars have major tranny issues and acura is not helpful at all,my sincere advice to you is to sell the car asap!!! i owned one for 2 yrs and paid to have the transmission fixed twice, within that 2 yrs, cost me close to $6000. i will never buy another acura again.

I doubt they did anymore damage but i`ll bet that the engine was damaged from the training going out such as valve guides and seals and carbon build up on plugs ETC.

This could be a lot of things. Your check engine light is the best place to start. Do you have a code reader? If not you will need to take this to a garage and pull the codes. This was a speed sensor on my car but like I said this could be a lot of things. Pull the codes from the check engine and go from there.
