It is very likely that the vacuum hoses are the problem. The only people that have a manual with the diagram you need is a dodge dealer, contact the service dept at your local dealer and they will probably photo copy you a diagram from the service manual.

How do I remove a fuel pressure regulator on a 2002 dodge caravan.

Before doing ANYTHING, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you depressurize the fuel system, and be sure the engine is COLD COLD COLD before removing any lines.
The fuel pressure regulator should have one vacuum line and three fuel lines connected to it. (Some have an electrical connector instead of the vacuum line, but same idea.)
AFTER DEPRESSURIZING THE SYSTEM, with engine COLD, carefully disconnect the vacuum line (or electrical connector), then SLOWLY loosten and remove all three fuel lines, noting how they are connected. Replace all grommets & gaskets with new, then Install the fuel lines to the new regulator, EXACTLY as they were on the original, tightening the fittings to torque specifications provided for your vehicle and engine. Reconnect the vacuum (or electrical) connection, then repressurize the fuel system WITHOUT STARTING THE VEHICLE. With the ignition ON, watch for any sign of leaks. If there are ANY signs of leaks, stop them before starting the vehicle. DO NOT START THE VEHICLE IF THERE ARE ANY LEAKS, AS THERE IS A DANGER OF STARTING AN ENGINE FIRE.
Check for proper fuel rail pressure, and be certain to re-check your work within 100 miles to assure that there are NO LEAKS.
If you are unfamiliar with depressurizing or repressurizing a fuel injection system, PLEASE REFER THE WORK TO A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN..

Replaced timing chain and gears now it has high idle and no power.

What was the reason you replaced the chain and gears. Second did you time it correctly. If you did check around your intake manifold and make sure all vacuum lines have been put back correctly.

Check your vacuum lines, it sounds like one did not get reconnected correctly. When this happens you check engine to come on and will cause your engine's rpm's to rise.

The 4x4 will not work. No service light is on. I replaced the switch still nothing but i did find a hose with big holes missin and it leads to the transfer case. Cound that be the reason it doesnt switch?

The hose sounds like the 4WD vacuum switch line hose that connects to the vacuum switch on top of the transfer-case on the driver's side. When the vacuum switch is activated, it actives the 4WD actuator under the battery to lock up the front axle hub in the differential giving you 4WD mode.
Inspect the vacuum hoses and replace and damaged parts and reconnect the vacuum line to the vacuum switch. This should get your 4WD running 100% again.
Thank you for using Fixya and good luck, if the switch is faulty. You can pick one up at Auto Zone, Napa for around $25.00 and can be replaced in about 20 min with common tools.

I do not have the solution for you but I will make a suggestion if you do not get an answer from someone else. Find a 2000 Dodge Caravan like yours at a used car lot and pop the hood and take a look. That may be your quickest solution.

Are you sure the fluid level reservoir is full and that the cap in on correctly as well as no lines are leaking fluid. Also sounds as though something may not be connected correctly. Are you sure you have connected the brake-booster vacuum line and that all lines are properly bled ...also no dry-rotted vacuum lines ..a simple test of bending the lines will show cracks and dry-rot replacement is needed if so ....this is a starting point for you ..i hope it helps

Pull your AIS motor off, clean with throttle body spray, especially pintle (pointed end) and hole it came out of , re-install & try again, see if that helps. If it works good for a while & acts up again, replace it.
