If this is a single seprentine belt the tension setting is automatic and is not adjustable. Why do you think it needs adjustment?

Need a belt diagram for a 1993 toyota corolla

With seprentine belts there should be a decal attached to the underside of the hood or on the radiator shield showing the diagram for the engine with the vehicle came equipped. For non serp belts you can see all the grooves in pulleys that align without a bend in the belt. Local libraries usually have repair manuals that may show routing - many libraries have Chiltons online at no charge.

How do I tighten the A/C belt on my 2008 Mazda 5? The darn thing is squealing so loud but I can't seem to find a tensioner anywhere...

If it is a serpentine belt is is self adjusting. So if it is squealing then it needs replacing as it is worn out. And also possibly the tensioner needs replacing as it may not be holding sufficient tension on the belt. If it is a drive belt it more than likely still needs replacing as it will have become glazed from slipping. On a drive belt it is adjusted by loosening the mounting bracket on the A/C and moving it in a direction that tightens the belt.

1. Depressurize and drain the cooling system. 2. Loosen the alterantor adjustment and remove the belt.
3. Remove the water pump pulley.
4. Remove all the timing belt covers.
5. Loosen the timing (camshaft) belt tensioner and slip the timing belt off the camshaft toothed pulley (ensure you do not move the positon of the camshaft)
6. Unbolt the lower radiator hose fitting and heater retrun pipe.
7. Unbolt the waterpump from the block (5 bolts).
8. Remove all traces of the old gasket before mounting the new pump (Permatex spray on gasket remover works well).

How much should I reasonably pay to replace the Timing belt in my 2002 Mazda Protege 5?

replacement of timing belt $350-$500. aftermarket shops will try to sell you a package containg a belt, water pump, and tensioner pulley. the dealer will just replace the belt, they might recommend to replace the water pump if there are alot of miles on the car, they will also inspect the pulley for wear.
