I have a barely used Hozelock 7901-0000 which has stopped working. The 13 amp fuse is ok. Does it have an internal cut out?

2005 Silverado brake lights on tail not working, cruise out , bulbs and fuses ok

Brake light switch? The cruise and brake lights problems are likely related. The cruise control cuts out when you press on the brakes. I had a van where the cruse wouldn't engage. Then someone pointed out my brake lights were always on. It was the switch.

I replacsed th wiper transmission and now the wiper fuse keeps blowing I did not work on any thing but that

Does the fuse blow when the wipers are off or when you turn the wipers on? A fuse blowing means either a short circuit or an overload. Lets say that your wiper transmission is new and working properly, then an overload is probably blowing the fuse which is caused by the circuit pulling to much current because something is not aligned correctly and moving freely when the wiper motor is turned on. Before you connect the arms to the transmission, move the arm assembly manually with your hand to make sure the wipers go across and back on the windshield. This will verify that the arm assembly is moving freely and not jamming. Then turn the wiper transmission without connecting the wiper arms and see if the transmission is working properly and not blowing the fuse. This will verify that your wiper transmission is not defective. Check the wiring going to the wiper transmission for any bare spots or nicks on the wire insulation. If you have a bare spot or nick that is touching metal, the fuse will blow (this is called a short circuit). If you find a bare spot or nick on the wire use electrician tape to insulate the bare spot or nick. Usually three wraps of electrician tape around the bare spotor nick will do the job. Oh, make sure to replace the fuse with the correct amp fuse. Your car dealer auto parts can provide the information (over the phone) on the correct amp size. You can purchase the fuse at any auto parts. FYI: Too small an amp on the fuse will blow when the wiper is turned on. Too large of a fuse will cause the wiring to burn if your wipers should stop shifting and jam. Good Luck. Hope this helps.

Ford Expedition 2001, #rd Brake lamp is not working please help.

At the central junction block, find 20A fuse 13 and check it. This fuse supplies power to the brake pedal position switch and switch output is applied to the three high mount stop lamps. If the regular stop lamps work when the brake pedal is pressed, the switch is OK. All three high mount stop lamps may have burned out

Zafira 1.6 petrol 4 injectors open when hot

I woud suspect if it is all 4 it is an open circuit in the wireing. When faulting & won't go follow the injector wireing back from the injectors & slightly bend the wireing harness while someone is cranking the vehicle. Pay particular attention to where the harness runs near the exhaust (if it does) & check for any melted parts of the loom or conecting plugs. Also disconnect the loom at the 1st place along the loom & look at the connector for anything unusual.

Chevy cavalier - rear brake lights don't work. The center rear brake light does work as well as all other lights. Replaced the bulbs and fuse - no luck. From what I have been told, the turn signal...

Stop Lamp Circuit Description
The STOP HAZ fuse in the IP junction block supplies battery positive voltage to the normally open stop lamp switch. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the switch contacts close and battery positive voltage is supplied to the center mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) and both left and right stop lamp assemblies. The left stop lamp is grounded at G304 and the right stop lamp is grounded at G304.

Check the ground ! Testing an not guessing is the way to find the problem . Do you know how to test automotive electrical systems an circuits using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? How to use an read a wiring diagram to pin point testing areas in a wiring harness ?

Fuse #13 continues to blow.and when you move wires around and put a new fuse in its ok for awhile. can a certified tech find what is causings this

I'm sure an auto electrician will solve this problem for you,are you sure that you are using the right size fuse ,if not that could be your problem or it could be a bare wire touching something ,check these things first,if you can't find the problem take it to the auto electrician......hope this helps.....cheers

1991 chevy cavalier- stopped running going down road. Replaced fuel pump and fuel pump relay-ran for two weeks and the when making a stop, cut off again and won't start and is blowing the fuel pump fuse...

Sounds like a short between the fuse panel and the fuel pump relay. This can be from the fuel pump relay itself through an exposed bit of wire, or even a defective relay which seems to happen more than most times. Check the wiring to the relay and wrap or tape anything where bare wire may be exposed. Disconnect relay and try a new fuse. IF the fuse doesn't blow, then the problem source is the relay itself that is defective.

Hope this helps!
