Question about 2008 Chevrolet Malibu
Posted by Anonymous on
I had the same code "P0010" which is for the Intake Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid (this is a different component than the camshaft sensor which a lot of places will try to sell you first). Here is the part # you will need: 12655420. It will show up in the parts catalog as a "valve" but it is the actuator solenoid. It will cost you about $50 from the dealer but you can get it on ebay or other online places for about $30-$50. If you do this yourself, it should take you less than 15 minutes since the only has one bolt to remove and an electrical connector. If you need any further assistance, feel free to ask. I hope this helps!
