Are the speakers stock or are they add ones likes subs or a kicker if there stock then you cant run lights off of them thats to much power to them im supurised your radio hasnt fried and yes it will dim all of your lights eventualy the smart thing to do is to like run the one light to the cigeratte adapter or something but not the speakers on your radio

SOURCE: My 1998 Pontiac Sunfire was flashing the coolant

It is probably the same problem, you need to check the coolant level in the reservoir if it is full, then you need to check the coolant in the radiator. Make sure that you don't open it while it's hot, It will get you. You can also bring your car to advance auto or autozone, or most any other parts store and they will tell you why your check engine light is on, for free.

Trying to read error codes 98 pont/sunfire 2.2l

You can't read the codes this way on 95 and newer cars and light trucks (OBD 2 system), you will have to either go to a Kragen auto where they will do it for free or buy a cheap code reader for about $30-40.

Dear Oilzum, The fuel filter on most cars of that era are back by the fuel tank(where supply line comes out of tank), and usually on the inside of the frame. Find the fuel line from the tank towards the engine and you will find the fuel filter. Most are around 6 inches long and 3 inches around. Call me back if you need more help. quicbric(volvo man)
