Likely you are talking about the harmonic balancer.
The bolt turns counter clockwise and is generally removed using an air gun. There is another way to do that too but it is a bit dangerous. Using a solid breaker bar (one without jointed end) you can brace the end against the ground with the socket installed on the crank bolt (I actually have a pipe driven into the ground outside just for doing this...I just slide the bar into the pipe and keep it form dropping by using a vise grip on the handle). Once the socket is on the bolt, crank the engine over using the starter, the engine will force the bolt to back out.
After you get the belt installed, tighten it as much as you can by hand and ask a shop to just give it a final tightening with an air gun.
If the socket slips the bar can fly up so be very careful and don't stand where it can hit you!

havent a clue here to be honest all i can say is to check the oil level ,opel sound expensive to me ,they always make a mountain out of a molehill with their bills so it may pay to trade it in quick as even asking for an estimate they charge ,i mean their dealers and whos paying for the gelled haired sales staff and the everything else ?? know what i mean ,I have worked on these semi autos and they are a nightmare as all the software is encrypted so its a dealer only scenario to diagnose ,Could be the front clutch is wearing out which if it is then its a recon box because unlike america you cannot buy parts for the interior of the box only an exchange unit is sold 2500€ ,been their teashirt job i fitted a manual box in the end from a earlier corsa and done a magnificiant bodge job ,till it went for its annual test and as the papers said auto it had to be an auto unless it was done by an authorised opel dealer with a certificate from a technical engineer ,well the paperwork from the technical engineer alone was more than the car was worth so the owner drove it back to the uk ,re-registered it their and brought it back on english plates ,it was driven around like this here in spain for some 5/6 yrs till owner died ,havent seen this car since .

No idea offhand to be honest i would need my head under the bonnet to know what wrong .could be anything from the gauze filter in the fuel tank on the bottom of the fuel pump becoming chocked up and leaving the car allows it to drop away to a faulty pump overheating or the contacts ,maybe even a ignition module overheating ,Best advice is ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as normally these early opel corsas with the 4 cylinder engine are bullet proof they are even valve free if the timing belt snaps .

Sounds like you not getting enough fuel. Try replacing you fuel filter which sits under neath the rear near the tank. Just follow the line from the tank and you'll see it or it can be a faulty fuel pump You should get 3 bars pressure from it.
