Where are the speaker wire tie-in in the trunk for after market subs on a 2014 Lancer Evolution MR?

I am trying to add after market speakers in the trunk of my 2014 Lancer Evolution MR. But all the speakers seem to be in the doors. Is there a aftermarket speaker plug in in the trunk? Could that be what the wires are on the upper left hand side of the trunk are? They are 4 wires and have a female plug.

The car company do not put aftermarket wires in anything , they are called aftermarket because someone put them in there after the car was bought, most likely they are not in there , if the 4 wires are green or blue and 2 black ones they may be speaker wires but my guess is theta they are for a option from the factory add on light a set of extra lights or for a tow package , good luck

I have a 2005 dodge magnum rt with navigation and the 6 speakers can I hook up a scosche loc2sl add on amp and hook it in to my rear speakers

I assume you want to retain the factory stereo and add some subs to it. The answer is yes you can. Simply tie the loc into the speaker leads.

My sound stopped working except the sub and amp.

If you have a little electronic know how... it can be a blown capacitor in the speaker. If you find it, solder a new one in and turn the volume down in the future. And look around for any signs of burnt insulation. Trunk amps are notorious for being insufficiently wired for power.

1990 bmw 735i i need the color codes for thespeaker wires because i cannot get the speakers to play anything at all i have a after market stereo im thrying to put in te car and the prior owner cut off

Hi Nolan, The best advise I can think to give you regarding the identification of the correct cables is as follows. Get hold of a part finished one and a half volt battery cell (AA or AAA) Presumably you have located the cables and tried to pair them already? Using the battery hold one cable to the negative side of the double or triple A cell and touch and release the other cables to the positive side until a thudding sound is heard. Once heard tie the two cables together and mark which position with a label or masking tape. Go onto the next until all cables are identified and positions marked. If the cables were fitted through an amplifier and have been cut off from there you have a fairly large problem. Using the same method outlined, trace the end of the cables where they come into the trunk (boot) and connect a speaker to each. Use the same method of identification outlined. Once complete. trace the cables going back into the cabin. Be very careful to identify and connect the correct cables by making sure using a test meter or lamp that the cables you find do not carry any voltage. When testing do so while operating all electrics which can have circuits in the vicinity. Regards John

I recently was trying to install a 10 inch pa sub with a 3/6 inch tweeter and in the process snipped the black and red wires connected the sub it did not come on I then snipped the blue and red wires in...

sounds like you blew some fuses replace them. then reconnect stock wiring. the get after market deck, amp, and wiring that in it's color coded so it no that hard to do.that 10 inch pa speaker pulls a lot power plus it 8 ohm impudence. your going to need at least a 200 watt amp.bridgeable.
or single channel.

My 93 Boneville CD Player does not work, the radio works fine but it will not play CD's, also how would i install a set of speakers (subwoofers)

the cd player is bad and you can hook up subs through a rca hook up that you can hook to your speaker wires in the trunk the adapter is like 20 bucks at radio shack or local sound installer or buy an after market cd player cause yours will never work again and run rca's off the back of the radio to your trunk

Installing subs, how to use rc converter

from the rc converter i connected to the rear speakers taking both positive (left and right) to the positive on the factory speakers, then done the same with the negative (left and right) to the negative of the factory speakers. i connected with a quick connect. then from the converter to the amp using rc's. since my battery is in the trunk, the only wire i had to run through the car is the remote wire from the radio to my amp and then my subs to my amp.
