Question about Cars & Trucks
Code 20 is Fuel Pump circuit open. Check all of your fuses and relays and also check the fusible links coming off of the starter if there are any. Then check the wire harness from where it connects to the fuel pump and trace I all the way back to the computer. Your problem is going to be either a blown fuse, a bad relay or a problem with the wiring to the pump. Remember, if it is a blown fuse you have to investigate why it blew and the answer to that will be a short to ground in that circuit. Good luck!

its time for new brakes..read your owners manual...brakes will tell you they need replacing with squeeks or chirps and these go away when you press the pedal.

SOURCE: oil pump replacement
The pump is located in the pan you have to remove the transmission bolts out and raise the engine up with an engine stand and remove oil pan bolts and remove pump, it's quite a job.

SOURCE: cadillac wont start 1996
Aye, I would check or have the Ignition control module checked. Also the crankshaft position sensor imputs to the ICM. No crank signal being recieved means the control module wont send the spark out as the module has no idea where the piston position is. Surprised your local GM techs could fix this. I am a GM and ASE master certified tech who has spent the last 9 years with our local Cadillac dealership.

Make sure the air in the cooling system is bled out,and make sure the cooling fans are coming on,and going off on there own.If they come on,they have to go off too, when it cools down.If the cooling fans do not come on,bled the cooling system, and replace the coolant sensor, this tells the computer to activate the cooling fan relays. Also check the fuse, and the cooling fan relay.
