I WOULD SAY NO BECAUSE THE COMPRESSORS ARE DIFFERENT SIZE AND THE SYSTEM TAKES A DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF FREON.

Probably the left temp actuator. The wires in the right I/P junction block could have poor tension also, but it's usually the temp actuator.

Is there a switch on the 1999 chevrolet lumina to go from heater mode to air conditioning?

Nope, the AC and heater switch is one in the same, although indicated in blue towards the left are the AC settings for Max AC.
Where it says "push" that is for the rear window defrost.

2004 gmc yukon xl, rear ac/heat not coming on AT ALL. not blowing or anything. stopped suddenly, and has not come back on. checked all fuses and relays. no problems with the from ac

I will assume the ac is still getting cold, just not blowing.
You wouldn't really know unless you pulled the panel and checked the lines.
Causes include the blower motor, resistor, fuse, or switch.

GMC 1995 Yukon climate control ac and heat. Heat stay on when control switch is all the way on low. Also the ac will not come on.

Do you have rear ac and rear window defrosters if so the heater switch has failed. A GM priority diode unavailabe to any one but GM. Head to the local auto recyclers or pop for the $200 switch from your local GM dealer

Fuse is OK but air conditioner doesn't work '94 GMC Yukon.

yes alow presure switch is likely on GM and it could be out of freon ,safe way to tell is to put a set of gauges on it and it will tell by passing the low side switch will just destroy the compressor if it is out of freon
