SOURCE: 2005 Honda Pilot Rear Air

the blower for the rear air has a screen that like screen in your clothes drier or the screen on your hair drier will get loaded up with lint and junk. it is a bit of a pain to access, you have to remove the right hand kick panel on the driver's side and then you could see the screen. good luck.

SOURCE: 2003 accord air conditioner

I ad this problem fixed and it cost $35. Apparently, this happens when the Freon level is low for some reason. They refilled the Freon and now I have AC on both sides. Don't forget to replace the internal filter in the glove box.

This is a common problem when the AC system has a low charge.
If this is the case, you have a leak somewhere. Do not try to fix it yourself without the proper equipment.

SOURCE: i have a 2003 Honda Pilot and the rear air

If you look at your center console, you'll notice that there is an air vent on the back, facing the second row seats. This is where the rear air conditioning can be manually controlled by passengers in the rear of the Pilot...and where the air sensor is. To access it, you'd need to take apart your center console.

can you hear the fan blowing? If not the fuse may have blown for the blower. A water leak into the fan chamber can cause this.

Had the same problem on a 2006 pilot LX. Hot from rear heater because it comes from a separate heater core. Front heat low because ball valve faulty that controls coolant flow to heater core. The lever on the valve would move freely but the connection to the shaft of the ball valve was stripped. Ball valve may be located on the firewall under the hood. Ball valve very poor design.

behind the center counsel between the floor and the heater housing is a part that is called the blend door actuator. these usually go bad and have to be replaced.

A/C only from center vent. Heat from side vents and floor vents.

sounds like the blend motor from hot to cold is stuck open half way allowing both temps to come into the car.
