SOURCE: 05vw beetle, items that don't

any of the wires that feeds any of those items not working , will take you to the power source that
is causing the problem..could be a bad fuse, relay, automatic switch. some wires have internal fuses. you have to cut the wire in order to see ,, or test from one end to another for continuity.

the wire that feeds the horn lights ,blower and wipers, is the wire that comes from your ignition
and feeds power to all these items. so you must start by checking there, then following it to the fusebox, and finally to the items not functioning.

you can test where is th problem with the J2534 interface first, and then fix the problem. If you couldn't do this, you should take it to near garage.

Head light washers do not work:fuse and water level okay.Have turned Lights on.Have tried at irregular intervals and pulled wiper stalk in every direction.Windscreen washers work well:

Did you check to see if you have power to the wiper motors on the headlights? If you're sure the fuse is ok and you actually checked the fuse for voltage, then check the wiper motors for voltage, if the wipers don't have voltage to them then trace the wiring back, you'll probably find a break in the wiring or a relay that went bad. If you do have voltage, then start checking for a bad ground.

Fuse is ok no power to blower motor switch

Check the relay fuse under the hood. It is located in the fuse box on the fender. If the relay is bad you can replace it. Check it with a voltage meter. If it's not the relayit's probably the switch itself.
Hope this helps

Where is the Heater Blower Motor Relay on a 1997 Camry ?

why not post symtoms? is cab heater blower dead on HIGH??????
there are 5 fuses, just related to heat.
the blower relay is in the engine bay box 1 , far end marked HTR.

on high the relay coil 1 and blower pin 1 are grounded
the relay closes, if and only if the 10 amp heater fuse is good.
the relay then outputs 12v to blower in 2 and the motor RUNS.
that is it.
alldata.com read there.
or buy FSM for full facts. and schematics.

Problem is related to "load reduction relay". Verify for a signal and ground at the relay. if both are present, replace the relay. They are not available at autoparts stores.

It might not be a fuse that goes to that it might be a relay thats under your hood in the fuse box. Just a idea for you to try. Hope this works out for you.

I have a 2000 expedition with a relay clicking like crazy under the steering column and noticed with the key in the off position the heater blower still has power. It is killing the battery. please advise

With the relay connectected check the back it is either a 4 or 5 prong terminal 30 is battery volt 85 or 86 is ground if 85 is ground 86 will have battery volt 87 is power going to load such as blower motor the ground should be 0.05 or lower trace it back to problem or if 87 has low battery volt it could be the relay contacts inside

Heat/air blower faded in and out...sort of like ooooooooooh-saaaaaaah. Then nada, zip, nuttin. Fuse and relay both ok. Something to check on motor for easy fix or total replacement? 97 Sataurn SW2

If the blower motor relay, fuse, and switch have voltage to them, check to see if there is voltage at the blower motor itself with the fan switch on. If not, trace back to switch for fault. If there is voltage at the motor, replace the blower motor/fan assembly.

Low Voltage At Heater Blower

When you tested the voltage they mean basically nothing without a load. No automobile fan will run at 1/2 a volt. Put the blower back into the circuit and retest the voltage. If you did indeed check with the blower in circuit, you do have a problem with the supply voltage. I would need to know what make, model and year to tell you more. As a temporary fix, you can rig a switch to the blower to supply 12 volts directly to it. It will run on high whenever you have it on, but it will work until you can trace back to where the problem is.
