You should never take the block apart, it is not meant to be serviced.

1998 CHEVY BLAZER...REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER, BOTH REAR CALIPERS AND ROTORS AND EVEN SCANNED THE ABS SYSTEM....NO PEDAL...hELP!!!

Vic, Because you changed master cylinder air probably got into the ABS modulator. Air can be very difficult to remove from an ABS modulator assembly because of the solenoid valves, if no bleed screw on the modulator, you may need a pressure bleeder and a scan tool to cycle modulator to bleed trapped air. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck. "I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. 2005 Sebring Touring 2.7. Where is the knock sensor located?

This knock sensor is very difficult to access. It is located between the two cylinder banks, it screws into the cylinder block underneath the intake manifold.

In order to remove the sensor the intake manifold and right cylinder head must be removed.

I have an 2005 Chevy impala SS and I would like to know where my ABS fuse is so I can remove it. My engine is a 3800 supercharged.

This is labeled "Junction Block - Left IP Application Top View - Outside Devices "
I don't know exactly where it's at. I think it is referring to the left side of the instrument panel, underneath. Look at "8N M" for the ABS. The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) is at "10J H". This is listed in "Body - Component Locator - Electrical Center Identification Views."
Hope this helps.

Oil leaking from above the oil filter

I had this problem on my 06 G6. The oil filter housing gasgket needed to be replaced. The oild filter housing is what the oil filter screws onto, and the housing attaches to the block of the motor, and theres a gasgket inbetween the block and housing. The oil filter housing is held on with three screws, and one is extremely difficult to get to. I also had to remove the belt and unbolt the a/c compressor.

The average vehicle's abs module is located on the firewall and is fairly difficult to remove. Double check if your car is equipped abs as zx2's rarely are.

2002 Lincoln Town car - very low brake pedal, uneven braking with very little back brakes, nosedives when braking. replaced master cylinder, bled 3 times, no leaks or bulging lines. I replaced the ABS pump...

The ABS brain block is defective! Will have to be replaced. Big aluminum block with a lot of lines to it. =Usually down low under the master cyl.

Rear wheel abs

This is always extremely difficult as these abs sensors become jammed in the hole after a couple of years, I usually strip everything down around the sensor and smash it out with a hammer and screw driver or centre punch. you will find that the new sensor will go back in easily with a little lubrication.

2001 suburban abs motor will not turn off

The ABS relay should be located in the fuse box located on the drivers side inner fender in the engine compartment. Lift the lid and check the location diagram on the inside cover to locate the correct relay/fuse.

A related issue may be a loose ground wire. There is one located on the top rear of the engine block. It is a bolted connection. Remove this bolt, clean the surfaces and replace. This simple step has cured many electircal issues on these trucks.
