Question about 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
It could possibly be a faulty gauge, this is a pretty common issue for Trailblazers. Here's a link with more information about these GM gauge problems. Also, where you can purchase replacement parts on Amazon if you want to do the repair yourself.

Most likely the oil pressure sending unit is going bad or has a loose connection,but it would be safe to have a manual oil pressure test done to be sure it's not a problem with the oil pump.
