SOURCE: clifford immobiliser unlocks doors, does not start car

Find where your fuel pump relay is and check for power there. Most alarm tech's and alarm system dis engages the fuel pump at there relay's.

Simple things to check is the fuse first then go for the relay and if everything there is working properly, it could be your alarm may have gone bad or your fuel pump it self.

Good luck and hope this helps

on your dash there will be a two button switch. one with a star and one blank. press the star twice then the blank and your light should go solid. you"ll be in valet mode. if this works you can actually program a remote using the user guides on the clifford web site. (note you may also try it with your ignition in th eon mode but don't turn the car over.)

Car alarm how do tell if you have a factory or a after market alarm system

Most factory remotes have the car makers logo on them. Aftermarket will either have nothing or a brand name like Viper, clifford, avital, DEI, etc.

Key immobiliser ignition switch

Most audio mobile mechanics are trained in installing alarms as well as other things on cars part and present. It would be worth finding one and enquiring about your alarm. When you phoned Clifford I am guessing that you spoke to the receptionist and they just looked it up on their computer as the model is not stocked they probably won't help as it most likely wouldn't of had any warranty anyway. I had a 97 corolla and it had a stock alarm on it and it was good. Good luck anyway. If you are not confident enough don't touch as electrics are tricky on cars specially when taking advice that is noteface to face at the problem.

I need help to reset the car alarm. There is no keyless remote. It's a clifford alrm. It started fine then when i turn the car off the alarm light was blinking and now i can't start the car

Look under the dash for a little button that youll push to bypass the alarm. If not one you will need to disconnect the alarm sysem and remove it. It is useless to you anyway without the key pad
