Question about 2005 Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2

1 Answer

Fixya. I have no idea how my question has related to a 2002 Montero. The car in question is a 2005 Pajero 3.2 turbo diesel. Same questions still apply.

Same as before. I have had the discs machined and new brake pads fitted. The brake pedal almost goes to the floor but stays up if pumped (usually only one pump) There are no leaks.

You need to have the brakes bled. What happens is you pump up brakes and hold while another person unlooses brake line to lest out air in the brake fluid. Its down for all 4 brakes and then you will have a good brake pedal.

How many speed sensors does a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero limited have?

No idea why fixya keeps sending me questions about a 2002 Montero (Pajero). I have never owned one. I did own a 2005 Pajero diesel turbo but sold that in 2014 and now own a 2014 Triton.
Sorry I cant answer your question.

1987 Mitsubishi Pajero 2.5 turbo diesel not starting

Hi, there is a little cable that in on the starter motor, probably you have just disconnect it, it happens to my pajero lot of times. look around the starter motor for a cable that is not going somewhere and then locate the little connector on the top and rear part of the starting motor. if this is not the case then try another battery, pretty sure one of the two is the problem.

1993 mitsubishi pajero exceed-intercooler turbo 2800 diesel engine 4m40

Hi, I have a Pajero 2800 Turbo 1995 Auto. It has developed a bad oil leak somewhere around the front right hand side (from the front) where there seems to be oil spraying over the pipes, etc. Can't see it happening with the engine running and have cleaned the engine off but still can't see where it comes from. It has emptied the sump! Any ideas?
Cheers,
Rob.

Pajero

No, timing chains are not expected to be replaced periodically like belts. Ocassionally they get noisey at high mileages and require a new tensioner pad but usually the chain is OK with a new pad
