Question about 2007 Fiat 124
By undoing the battery the light goes out and the immobiliser clicks. Can I disconnect the immobiliser completly and if so How? this problem is on a Fiat Ulysse 1.9turbo diesel 1998 reg

That light is telling you that your brakes are worn. There is a wire connected to the front brake pads, and when the brakes reach a certain point, they trigger the light. Sometimes the light is triggered prematurely if one of the wires breaks or gets disconnected. Either way, you should check your brakes. As for the Fiat lights being the same, you are mistaken with your particular vehicle. The Fiat Ulysse is actually made by Peugeot, and is identical to the Peugeot 806, the and the Citroen Evasion.

I have the same problem with immobiliser in a 2007 golf, i have yet to figure out the problem:
Immobiliser will not allow me to sart the car but, if I let it Cool off , sometime sit between 5-120 min. it will start. i have tried succesfully the disconnect the battery for 30 min.
- it not the battery, given boost and no result
- it's not the alternator, it been tested
- Starters are effected by Temperature, i think it's the starter.
