SOURCE: Belt Tensioner replacement

A simple bolt on assembly, the tensioner for the serpentine belt may need replacement if it fails to smoothly pivot and maintain tension on the belt.

Using a half inch breaker bar, release tension by rotating against the spring, remove the belt from the tensioner. Unbolt the tensioner (one bolt may be so diffucult to reach that you might want to use a racheting open end wrench by Alden.
Install the new tensioner by reversing these steps.
I usually replace the belt at the same time.

SOURCE: 2006 Dodge Gr. Caravan. Loud humming noise upon

Misalignment of the belt, incorrect belt, worn or loose tensioner, Too tight of an adjustment (many service centers do this on purpose so when the belt breaks in it becomes properly adjusted, I do not believe in this philosophy), The belt is actually one long belt called a serpentine belt.....

2006 dodge grand caravan headlight replacement bulb?

with the hood open above the headlight assembly toward the ends of the assembly you should see 2 bolts one at each side of the assembly that go down through it these hold the assembly in the car.they should be 10mm and you need to remove them then pull it out of the car.looking at the back you can undo the headlight plug and turn the locking ring counter clockwise and remove the bulb.assemble in reverse order and don`t overtighten the mounting bolts.

I would suspect so as it uses a timing belt rather than a chain. See: http://www.car-stuff.com/store/?N=10121+4294962485+1607+11921+9318

95 dodge caravan with no start problem.

Connect a timing light to the number one plug wire and crank the engine. Does the light flash indicating that the Number one is firing? Look at the distributor. If you have a distributor cap and rotor assembly remove the distributor cap and crank the engine. If the rotor turns check the rotor to make sure there is a good contact point and check the distributor cap to ensure there are good contacts. If either is damaged or worn replace them both. If the rotor does not turn you have a broken timing belt or one of the timing belt/chain guides has jammed and the engine needs to be rebuilt.
