1998 ram 1500 code 1391

That code is Intermittent loss of camshaft positon sensor OR crankshaft position sensor. It would suggest to me that perhaps there is dirt obstructing the signal or possiblr wiring problems. A loose connection, corrosion, perhaps a bare spot on a wire. I'd check this stuff carefully before I started spending on new sensors. Hope this helps.

If the car just tries to start an start but wont it could be a crankshaft positioning sensor or camshaft positoning sensor.Or you could have a
loose wire.

Ignition problem

If there is no spark in any cylinder. Then check crankshaft positon sensor which is is in engine block. Wires from here lead to module and coil packs.

Where crank shaft and camshaft?

The camshaft position sensor is located on the timing cover, near the top of the motor. The crankshaft position sensor is located on the same timing cover near the crankshaft. Just a side note, more than likely the crankshaft position is your issue and it's under a recall from Nissan and they will replace it for free.

2002 pt cruiser Camshaft Sensor

change the crankshaft positon sensor in the rear of the engine above the oilfilter. Also check the wiring to this sensor, they have a problem shorting out. You have to change the camshaft and crankshaft sensors at the same time. Make sure you give your car a major tune up. Did you check yor starter?.........runjoe
